Majesco has reported their first quarter earnings, and to the chagrin of Mama, sales were not so hot. Although a net profit of $3.8 million for the quarter seems sizable, that’s down from $4.2 million for the previous year. The quarter ended January 31.
Despite the slide, Majesco remains confident in their sales, and their quality of titles. “Majesco had a very solid first quarter driven by strong holiday sales of our Cooking Mama franchise,” stated CEO Jesse Sutton. “Once again [the title] delivered impressive results, and Alvin & The Chipmunks: The Squeakquel.”
Maybe Mama should get out of the kitchen and craft up some sales for the company with the upcoming DS release of Crafting Mama.
