IO Interactive has announced plans to launch Kane & Lynch 2: Dog Days August 24th in North America. The game is set to release August 27th in Europe. The sequel is a crime shooter that continues the journey of two criminals, Kane and Lynch, throughout a 48 hour period.
“We believe the unique visuals and relentless gameplay has created an intensity never delivered in a videogame before,” said Niels Jørgensen, IO Interactive general manager. “In a genre where so many games look and feel the same, Kane & Lynch 2: Dog Days will make people double-take. We think it’s going to make quite an impression.”
The game also boast brand new multiplayer modes Undercover Cop, Cops & Robbers and Arcade, as well as the return of Fragile Alliance. With the game’s release set for late August, Kane & Lynch second release might just avoid the dog days of summer.
