A new ad for Sony’s PlayStation 3 promotes the “success” of the PlayStation Move, while making fun of the Wii’s motion controls and Project Natal. The commercial again stars Sony’s Kevin Butler, but this time he’s boasting the title VP of Realistic Movements. Set in the future of November 2010, Butler congratulates the company for successfully launching the Move, all while dissing the Wii and Natal.
Butler didn’t hold back, making fun of Wii’s unimpressive motion controls for boxing sims, and Natal for being button-less. “Who wants to pretend their hand is a gun?” he remarked. The Nintendo fanboy in me chuckled.
What do you think of Sony’s slanderous ad campaign?
