Nintendo has announced a partnership with Tecmo Koei to release the next installment of the Samurai Warriors series here in North America. Samurai Warriors 3 will offer a brand new innovative story line and game modes. The title will also introduce seven newly playable characters, returning favorites, as well as new gameplay elements.
SW3 will include both online and offline multiplayer for up to two players. The game was originally released in Japan last December, available in three different sets. One as the standalone title, another bundled with the Classic Controller Pro, and the third with the controller and a mini-figurine, the game’s soundtrack on CD and a guidebook of art.
No word if those bundles will release here in the states, but I’m betting you can count on at least the controller bundle.
