Metroid: Other M’s website music still looping, still beautiful

If you’ve happened to glance over at the Japanese website for Nintendo and Team Ninja’s upcoming title Metroid: Other M, you’ve noticed there isn’t much in the way of content. Currently the site hosts a game trailer, followed by a picture of Samus staring out a large window. However, there is one little gem that stands out about the site.

A song delicately preformed on a classical piano can be heard during your time browsing the page. After two months of not much else existing on the site, you’d think a song on a loop would drive a person insane. However, the classical tune is one of the most addictively beautiful arrangements this Tanooki writer’s ever heard.

A gracious YouTuber has uploaded the audio from the site in video form, and has also provided a download link for your constant enjoyment. Take a listen, and become mesmerized.

Update:  Now that the game is in stores, you may be wondering if this beautiful piece is featured in the game. Well, (spoiler alert) it is! You won’t hear it until the very end of completing the game’s second ending, but it’s there. Enjoy!
