Those who played the previous titles in the Bit.Trip series found slight differences within the gameplay of each title, all of which closely resembling a single player futuristic Pong-like experience. The next installment of the series however, leaves those ideas in the past, focusing on offering more of a side scrolling platformer experience.
Judging by the trailer, it actually works out well, with gameplay comparable to a hectic speed run of Super Mario World. Mixing bright colors, hectic environments, and obstacle after obstacle, the game is definitely made to challenge the player.
