How exciting! Who knew the best gaming news of the week would happen on a quiet Sunday afternoon?
According to GoNintendo, who got their hands on a copy of the April 2010 issue of Nintendo Power, a new Scribblenauts is on the way! And it has everything a Scribblenauts fan has dreamed of: an improved control system (hopefully, the D-pad will now let you move forward, instead of moving your point of view forward), a new hint system, a level editor, 120 new levels, and more merits! They’ve also removed the par scoring system. Adjectives are now said to play a role as well, which I assume means they’ll have a bearing on what noun you pair them with.
No release date was given but the issue points to “fall”. So, not only is there a new Scribblenauts, but its also going to be released this year. The news just keeps getting better and better!
