Monster Hunter Tri demo available without preorder

There have been reports around the net that GameStop locations are requiring a preorder of Monster Hunter 3 (uh…Tri…uh…whatever) in order to receive the demo disc of the game. Capcom wants to assure you however that this isn’t the case at all. Capcom Unity has clarified that the demo of the game is available to anyone who wants it. Reports started that GameStop employees were requiring a preorder. In actuality, the demo isn’t actually supposed to be available until March 8th.

Capcom did note however, that there are other benefits to preordering the game from GameStop locations. Gamers will receive $5 off the price of the game, as well as a 500 Nintendo Points card. So while you don’t have to preorder to get the demo, it seems you might as well!

I also got back from a Gamestop that refused to give me a demo unless I preorder.
