Sound Plus Sports Kit adds extra sound to Wii Remote movements

Hyperkin has announced a new set of peripherals strictly designed to help maximize those action sounds you’re used to while playing sports. The Sound Plus Sports Kit not only features a soft foam design, with each piece shaped like the sports equipment, but also includes a built-in internal sound device that projects different noises. A “pop” noise for instance is heard when you swing in a baseball game.

It’s unclear from the press release just how these noises will correlate to your actual in game performance, but with a “patent pending design,” what’s not to trust? The Sports Kit is also Wii MotionPlus compatible.

The peripherals will come in white, blue and pink and will retail for $20.
