It appears Nintendo has something so pressing to show off, they’re hosting their own event. On February 24th, Nintendo of America will host a Nintendo Media Summit event in San Francisco. The event is just two weeks before this year’s Game Developer’s Conference, clearly showing that the summit has a greater importance.
Earlier this week, both Nintendo Power and Official Nintendo Magazine have teased special announcements would be in their next issues, which hit newsstands in early March.
So with new Mario, Zelda and Metroid titles already planned for this year, what could this media summit be about? Just a Vitality Sensor demonstration? A Wii 2 announcement? DSi 2 reveal? We’ll find out in just two weeks.
