If Luigi isn’t going to make an appearance in the next Galaxy, I highly doubt someone of the likes of Sonic would make a cameo..

I wouldn’t mind so much as long as it were just a cameo, not a playable character. Although, it would be fun to play as Sonic in a Mario Galaxy type world.

Though, it could theoretically be the highest critically rated “Sonic game” in a long time… or, depending on how introducing 3D Sonic would affect it, the worst Mario platformer in a long time.
