Sure, many were thrilled when they first heard that Sonic and Mario would team up in a video game, with their first joint Olympic adventure. Then Sonic gratefully joined the roster of Super Smash Bros. Brawl. Now, is it possible Mario’s new blue friend will join him in space?
According to an unknown trusted source, NGamer Magazine is reporting via their Twitter that Sonic will be a playable character in Super Mario Galaxy 2. Yeesh.
I am praying to all things holy that this is just a lame attempt by the “source” to gain some notoriety, or have a laugh at the expense of all of us. Luckily, I think I know Miyamoto well enough to classify this under the “when hell freezes over” category. Mario share the spotlight of his own game? Ha!
