One of IGN’s most notable gaming editors Mark Bozon has announced today that he is leaving his position at the company. Originally starting in 2005, Bozon spent most of his time working under the Nintendo channel. Before his time at IGN, he worked at development studio WayForward, contributing on over 20 titles.
“I’ve loved every minute of my time here at IGN,” said Bozon. “I’ll be staying within the industry (and on the press side here in LA), so feel free to track me down and make fun of my typos or claim that I hate Nintendo any time.” Bozon was always upfront about his criticisms with Nintendo’s choices, something some fanboys didn’t always appreciate.
“I was an IGN superfan LONG before I ever started working here,” he continued. No specific reason was given for his departure. Goodluck Boz, you shall be missed.
