On the heels of the announcement that Team Ninja’s upcoming Metroid title would release this summer in Japan comes the launch of the game’s official website. The Metroid: Other M site is minimal now, but it’s enough of a tease to get fans excited. In the background plays a classical piano tune, sounding like something you’d hear while on an escalator in Nordstrom. While not a tune I recognize, I instantly fell in love with it, and have played it on a loop for the past hour.
The only image on the site is of a woman standing against the glass window of a space station, looking out at the world. The girl slightly resembles Samus, but has short blonde hair. Maybe a younger Samus? The game’s E3 launch trailer also showed video similar to the above image. Incase you forgot, take a look at the E3 trailer below. More information about the game is surely bound to be added to the website within the next few weeks.
