Tatsunoko vs Capcom may add DLC fighters

Tatsunoko vs Capcom

With Tatsunoko vs. Capcom: Ultimate All-Stars already on store shelves, many have assumed that the game’s roster is set in stone. Especially considering Nintendo barely gives any title the opportunity to take part in DLC.

An interview with Ryota Niitsuma, the game’s producer, showed his interest in bringing more characters such as Phoenix Wright from Ace Attorney and Ingrid from Capcom Fighting Evolution into the game. “To answer the question, it has a lot to do with Nintendo, but it is technically possible,” said Niitsuma. “It is not something we’re planning at the moment, however.”

Nintendo seems to have a long standing admiration and respect for Capcom, considering they designed the Classic Controller Pro specifically with Capcom’s Monster Hunter Tri in mind. At this point, you’d think anything Capcom may want to do, the Big N would allow. If sales are strong, I bet we’ll see a few more characters by the end of the year.
