On the heels of the announcement that Monster Hunter Tri will release this April on the Wii, Capcom has announced release dates for a few of their other titles.  Lost Planet 2 will arrive May 18th, 2010 on PS3 and Xbox360. The game “will offer deeper insight into the world of E.D.N III and the uncertain fate of future mankind,” according to the press release. Comprised of 6 action-packed interconnected episodes, the game also features a campaign mode of up to four players.

Next up is the much anticipated updated, upgraded fighter, Super Street Fighter IV.  The game adds more characters, more stages and more modes for the masses to enjoy.  Coming at a lower price point, the game is a must have for any fighting fan. SSFIV will release April 27, 2010 for PS3 and Xbox360.

Last but not least is the retro re-release of two titles in one, in Final Fight: Double Impact. The downloadable game contains both Final Fight and Magic Sword. For those unfamiliar with Final Fight, a few of the game’s characters will be playable in Super Street Fighter IV.  Talk about cross promotion! Final Fight: Double Impact will release this spring.

See, all that worrying about these titles being delayed and it looks like they were only pushed back a few short months.  Before summer even begins, we’ll be enjoying some of the year’s hottest titles. Take a look below at the Super Street Fighter IV boxart as well!
