After a four month delay, Assassin’s Creed II will finally leap and bound its way to the PC. And interestingly enough, my fellow PC fanatics, it will be at the full price of $59.99, which I don’t have to tell you is unusual for the PC price. But since it contains the DLC chapters Battle of Forli and Bonfire of the Vanities (both of which will be out on console before March, at the end of January and end of February, respectively) and is purportedly some kind of “director’s cut” of the game, I guess its justified.

At any rate, Assassin’s Creed II will be available on PC March 16, 2010. Oh, and keep a sharp eye out for the Black Edition, priced at $64.99. So far, Ubisoft has been vague on the details to the point that there’s speculation that the PC Black Edition will differ from the console one. An announcement is expected in February so stay tuned!
