I own both The Sims 3 and its expansion, World Adventure. However, I’ve haven’t touched either. Not played one single hour. Weird? Maybe not to some of my fellow expansion junkies. After the steady stream of add-ons that Sims 2 featured, its been hard to jump right back in with such a disappointing selection of items and content. I thought World Adventures would mark the start of my interest and enthusiasm, but no dice.
However, with the announcement of this new content pack, I think I’m starting to feel ready. Entitled “Design and High Tech Stuff”, and featuring everything from flat panel TVs to video game consoles (not to mention three classic Sims items, the heart-shaped vibrating bed, the electric guitar, and the aquarium, to be featured in a special 10th Anniversary edition), it actually sounds like they took a page from my own life.
