DSi XL sets sights on March release for Europe

DSi XL

Released late November as the DSi LL in Japan, Europe will now get their hands on the DSi XL this spring.  On March 5th, the bigger handheld will release in both red and dark brown.

The DSi XL features a pair of 4.2″ screens, that are nearly 100% the size than that of the DS Lite. Preloaded software titles such as Flipnote Studio, DSi Browser and Brain Training: Arts Edition are expected to be included.

With bigger screens, does the XL seem like a worthy contender for an upgrade?

I think it will do just fine. Size of the screen seems like something they complain about, but on the flip side, they preferred it smaller, as we saw with the DS Lite in the first place. I don’t know why, but for some reason, people just buy new DS, even if there isn’t a point to it. Bad colour choices FTL though, they’ll lose some business just off of that.
