Cross promotion with Beyonce helps Nintendo put a ring on it

While Beyonce has previously been part of Nintendo’s advertising campaign for their DS Lite handhelds, the gaming powerhouse has extended their relationship with the R&B/Pop songstress.  This time however, both parties will be promoting their products.  Beyonce will continue to support Nintendo’s DS handhelds, while also promoting her fashion line “House of Dereon.”  Beyonce will help push Nintendo’s fashion title Style Savvy, a game that features pieces from the Dereon clothing line.

“Style Savvy is all about creativity and fashion, both of which are really important to me,” said Beyoncé. “I love that I get to become a stylist and take over my own boutique, and it’s so much fun to see some of my Deréon designs added to the mix.” Beyonce’s ads for Style Savvy will appear on Nickelodeon, as well as during the Nickelodeon Kids Choice Awards.
