CES 2010: Leak shows Natal confirmed for 2010
Early confirmation has come from CES that Microsoft’s advantageous creation dubbed “Project Natal” is getting a 2010 release date, according to a leaked preview of an upcoming CES Microsoft event. The video clip showed an interview with Entertainment and Devices president Robbie Bach, where highlights of this year’s releases were discussed. Since its E3 ‘09 reveal, Natal was largely thought to launch this year.
Also confirmed is the release is Halo Reach, as well as an expanded version of Xbox Live. Of interest to old school gamers is the new Xbox Game Room, which will serve as a hub for Avatars to play retro titles such as Centipede, from a selection of 30 or so Atari and Intellivision.
Confirmation of all of these items is likely at tonight’s Microsoft press conference at 6:30pm Pacific.
