Media Molecule has announced a Pirates of the Caribbean theme pack to arrive today on the PSN for LittleBigPlanet.  ”Davy Jones and his mighty Kraken have come to LittleBigPlanet to wreak havoc and claim some sack folk to serve as Davy’s Crew,” according to the official press release. Of course, it’s up to Sackboy to save the day! Included in the kit are a slew of new character costumes, 5 new levels, plus new music, objects and stickers. The pack will cost $11.50.

If the Pirates theme wasn’t enough, LittleBigPlanet will finally see the addition of water.  Water has been teased for a few months now, but what better way to introduce it then with rum lovin’ pirates. Water will also be available in the game’s creation mode to use at your disposal.
