EA has decided to tickle our tuckuses with a feather, with a recent tweet posted by EA community manager Alain Quinto.  Quinto teased a new sports title will be announced soon.

Just heard the execs at EA SPORTS will announce a new game sometime in January.  I wonder what it’ll be?

Although it doesn’t specify if the new title is referring to a new game or a new type of sports game, signs likely point to a new series under the EA Sports umbrella, ella, ella.  Personally, I’d like to see a new EA Sports skiing, snowboarding or surfing title, or a continuation of the SSX series.  As long as we aren’t subjected to the likes of EA Sports: Fly Fishing, then I’ll be just fine.
