Dementium II teaser site launches

I’ve been excited about Dementium II since seeing this disturbing cover shot a few months ago. Like many, I am not too familiar with the original but if the sequel is as cool as it looks, I’ll be looking at a brand spanking new addiction. And its so scary that European PR manager (read: perpetuate of hype) Rob Burman boasts:
“We decided to launch the teaser site first because, to be honest, the full website is too disturbing for most people…An old lady accidentally glanced at the full thing last week and nearly fainted… so we just didn’t want to take the risk.”
So there you have it. Dementium II is too scary for old ladies. It can now join the ranks of “falling down without my LifeAlert pendant” and “eating after 5 PM.” Hey-o! Seriously though, anything that has you exploring the blood splattered walls of a mental hospital frozen in time has to be utterly terrifying. And that was just the original. Who knows what the sequel will bring.

December 7, 2009 – Leicester UK – SouthPeak Games and Renegade Kid have come out from behind the sofa to launch a teaser website for the terrifying survival horror game Dementium II, coming to Nintendo DS™ in Europe, February 2010. Those with a strong stomach can check out the site at http://www.dementium.com
“We decided to launch the teaser site first because, to be honest, the full website is too disturbing for most people,” said Rob Burman, European PR Manager, SouthPeak Games. “An old lady accidentally glanced at the full thing last week and nearly fainted… so we just didn’t want to take the risk.”
New and increasingly more horrible content will be rolled out in the run up to Dementium II’s release next February and the website will soon be the place to go for exclusive videos, screenshots and more information about the mysterious Bright Dawn Treatment Centre.
