Less than a day after the news started hitting the mainstream game blogs, EA has officially confirmed the new Mercenaries multiplayer game, entitled Mercs, Inc. Says Nick Earl, Senior VP and Group General Manager at EA:
“We are very excited to announce a new installment in the popular Mercenaries series because it demonstrates our continued commitment to Pandemic’s rich catalog of intellectual properties. From the studio at EALA, a core creative team is forging new ground and conceptualizing new ideas for this exciting franchise.”
So far no details, like release date or platform, have come out but its still said to be in the “early stage of development”.
