Teyon bringing the wacky world of miniature golf to DSiWare
Teyon announced today a minigolf game to be released on DSiWare, 101 MiniGolf World. The game features six 18-hole courses with a variety of obstacles, in a decent-looking-for-a-DS-minigolf-game 3D environment. The game uses a modal system of stylus-based controls, which seems easy enough to use – in view mode, you drag the stylus around to change your angle and look around before tapping into shoot mode, where the stylus controls angle and power. Multiplayer support is of the pass-the-DSi-around-the-room variety, which is sort of a shame. I have to say I’m a bit of a sucker for minigolf games, but poor physics and limited view options usually kill them. Hopefully that won’t be the case here, because so far this game looks to be promising. Neither pricing nor availability has been announced yet.
