Resident Evil 5: Gold Edition arriving March 9th
Capcom has announced that the U.S. release, which elsewhere is called Resident Evil 5: Alternative Edition, will now be titled RE5: Gold Edition. This new edition will arrive in retail form, which will include a copy the game with all add-on content packed in for the PS3 version, and a download voucher for the content for Xbox version.
Don’t worry if you already own RE5 as you’ll be able to just download the new content. Planned for release are two new downloadable episodes, new costumes, and a new mode called “Mercenaries Reunion” which will feature 8 new playable characters, and weapon load outs. The downloadable episodes will be available in mid February.
