Update: Phoenix Wright on WiiWare confirmed

The latest issue of Famitsu confirms what the German ratings board already leaked. Phoenix Wright is on his way to WiiWare! The PC ports will be making several debuts on Japan’s WiiWare service, starting December 15th with Ace Attorney (900 Wii points), followed by Justice For All January 26, and Trials and Tribulation February 23 (both 1200 Wii points). The fifth case of Ace Attorney, previously available only on the DS version of the game, will be released separately at 300 Wii points.
No word yet on Western release, but with the amount of North American interest so far, we’ll probably hear one way or the other soon.
Update: Capcom has sent out a press release heralding the arrival of Phoenix Wright on American WiiWare. The same episodes will be released, but with slightly different prices and release dates. Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney (chapters 1-4) will come out in January, with Chapter 5 to be released separately for 100 Wii points. In March, expect Phoenix Wright: Justice For All, and Phoenix Wright: Trials and Tribulations in May. All games will be 1,000 Wii points a piece. Oh and look at this!
