Early to mid-November is generally the most logistical time for publishers to release their big holiday titles and – when it applies – new hardware, even if it’s more than likely inconvenient for most consumers who tend to build up their funds for after Thanksgiving. It gets the early adopter purchases out of the way, allowing stock to replenish in time for the Black Friday through Christmas shopping window.

Let us not forgot how BAD of a time this is for a release. Many of us, much like myself, are not purchasing this due to school. This is report card time for a lot of us, and we won’t get it because of it. Christmas is also right around the corner and some may just wait until then, or parents may say to wait. When you look at how the sales go after Christmas, it will be incredible.
