Microsoft has announced that today marks the launch of their latest update, which adds Facebook, Twitter, Last.fm and Zune. The Facebook integration allows you to update your status to share with your friends what you are doing on your Xbox, whether playing Modern Warfare 2, or watching a Netflix movie. Twitter will allow users to tweet, view trends and of course, find out exactly what Miley Cyrus is up to.
The Xbox LIVE Marketplace is getting a Zune overhaul, providing instant HD content in 1080p. And no waiting for downloads, as all videos are promised to start instantly without an annoying buffering status bar. Lastly, Last.fm will provide a ton of music that you can customize by declaring you “love” a track or “ban” a track.
