New Pokemon game available on WiiWare

Available today, November 16, for the bargain price of 1500 Wii points (Yeesh, I take back the “bargain” part), its Pokemon Rumble!

This new download installment of the beloved series has a decidedly different angle than previous titles. Users control a Pokemon windup toy, which they then use to navigate a winding maze, defeating all the other Pokemon they encounter. A free for all, last-man-standing battle mode boasting dozens of opponents is also available, along with 4 person multiplayer and a password screen to unlock “special” Pokemon. Its definitely not your typical Pokemon title, but eh, they had to put a fresh spin on it somehow, right? And anything that allows me to use the phrase “Pokemon Battle Royale” (and thereby invoke the imagery of bruised and bloodied Pokemon) is a winner in my book.

    It’s 1500 Wii Points.

Wild, IGN said 1200. I’ll check it out and correct if need be.

Edit: it seems the original price was 1500 and has been dropped to 1200.

The Wii Shop Channel says 1,500. Nintendo says 1,500. I believe them more than you and IGN.

Hey here’s an idea, let’s get an attitude about it :) Since I can’t find a collaborating story from anyone else confirming a lower price that doesn’t link back to IGN, and since my Wii Shop Channel (I believe my own eyes more than I believe you) still lists it at 1500, for now its changed.

Because you are wrong and won’t admit to me being right.

Alright, peeps, no need to ruffle feathers. Obviously IGN doesn’t have the right info. It’s fixed, and we’re leaving it at that.
