The day has finally arrived, as eager Nintendo fanboys have been awaiting the New Super Mario Bros. Wii launch since the game was announced at this year’s E3.  The only Wii title decked out in glorious red packaging, the game offers the perfect mix of new and old, bringing back the greatest enemies, sound effects, themes and characters throughout the franchises 25 year history.

Playing since 9am, I beat the game today in about 8 hours, and all I can say is “wow!” There’s a lot more to explore and a lot of side missions to complete, but I’m sure all Mario fans can say confidently that the game stacks up as one of the best in the series. Have you beaten it yet?
