EA has announced the upcoming release date of Skate 3 for PS3 and Xbox 360, in May 2010.  The game will allow gamers to create their own skate crew for use locally or online, to form a truly competitive skating title.  Competitions will be held between rivals at the new skate zone called Port Carverton.

“We’re giving gamers a very unique experience by providing them with the tools they need to build their ultimate team or to create a team comprised entirely of their online friends,” said Senior Producer, Jason DeLong. “From there, it’s all about proving yourself – teaming up, and throwing down.”

EA has also announced that those who preorder the title will get an exclusive code to unlock the Black Box Distribution Skate Park, which is the home of known skate teams Zero, Mystery and Fallen.
