Miyamoto discusses Zelda Wii Motionplus details
Slowly but surely, Nintendo is eeking out the details on the Legend of Zelda title for Wii, tidbit by microscopic tidbit. And may I say its excruciating thus far. Shigeru Miyamoto recently sat down with Wired for a Q&A that included, gasp, a few deets on the upcoming Legend of Zelda title for the Wii. And when I say few, I mean few.
The interview, only available in Japanese (translation forthcoming) has a choice quote or two:
“In this (installment of the series), we’re using MotionPlus to make you feel much more like you’re actually fighting while holding a sword in your hand…In the previous game, you aimed at things by pointing at the screen, but this time we’ll use MotionPlus to create a much more convenient targeting system and a more pleasurable playing experience.”
All very predictable but still, its nice to be reminded that they’re working on the next Legend of Zelda. With the wait we’ve had so far, its easy to forget.
