I guess it's just the thing you do when you have some new gadgets to display, but really… for an accessory like this? I also like the whole sort of self-referential premise that comes up from time to time with models flaunting cameras, the whole time truly being situated in front of, rather than behind the lens. Also, this model's hair reminds me of those 'Bumpits' that they sell on TV to shoot your hair up into the sky… As far as the case/lens… I totally agree… I know the only pictures I've shot with my DSi are of myself making stupid faces for the thrill of embarrassment when I go to the home screen. Additionally, this thing looks crazy impractical to carry around… Just in case the lens wasn't unwieldy enough, the case for the lens looks to add quite a bit more thickness to it… With the whole thing assembled, it looks to be competing with my DP2 for size… The model cracks me up! On topic, why is a zoom needed for the DSi camera? I kind of see that as a novelty, not anything to be taken so seriously as to need a zoom. Ah well, people love their toys.
