iWater Flow brings back awful childhood memories
Remember that ‘game’ that you were given as a child that was essentially a plastic box full of water and some rings? And you’d have to shoot said rings to and fro via ‘buttons’ that shot weak currents through the water, trying to land the rings on some silly obstacle? And behind it all was a cheesy seascape backdrop like you might put against the back wall of your fish tank to trick your fish into thinking he lived in the ocean? Well, there’s an app for that.
Dancing Dots and Bulkypix have unleashed a $2 water-game emulator for iPhone/iPod Touch called iWater Flow. It features a variety of gameplay modes, and supports OpenFeint for sharing scores and achievements. The screenshots lead me to believe that the game is a pretty faithful reproduction… Maybe a little too faithful, in fact…
