The Whooooo’s coming to Rock Band. Who who! Who who! A recent interview with lead singer Roger Daltry touched on Rock Band: The Beatles, prompting Daltry to spill:
“The game, yeah, yeah, they’re going to be doing a Who one next year. There is one planned. (The idea) is fabulous. Anything that gets non-musical people interested in music is wonderful. In my opinion, music is our last true great freedom. They can burn our books, they can burn our paintings, but they can’t stop us singing and making music.”
This wouldn’t be the first time a member of a featured band leaked news to the press about their involvement in a future installment of Rock Band. Some of you will remember that Brian Mays of Queen recently did the same. It seems lately our best Rock Band news is coming from the band members themselves. Guess I better start reading Rolling Stone a little more carefully!
