The second official Wii Remote color is finally launching here in North America. After the Revolution Wii’s first promotional video, we saw a plethora of colors for the console and controllers set to debut. But reality sunk in when Wii’s strong success translated to three years of standard white.
Finally, Nintendo has announced that November 16th will see the black Wii Remote and Nunchuk. The black Wii Remote is being bundled with MotionPlus for the price of $49.99. The black Nunchuk will be available for $19.99.
“The Wii Remote revolutionized not only how people play games, but also who plays them,” said Cammie Dunaway, Nintendo of America’s executive vice president of Sales & Marketing. “The new color lets people customize their setup, and the controllers make great stocking stuffers for players of any age.”
