Invincibility star ornaments make your Christmas tree temporarily immune to damage

It’s almost Halloween! You know what that means: Christmas pre-season for bored housewives and Women’s Home Journal readers everywhere!

All jokes aside, I actually want these for my tree this year. I personally go with video game themes for some of my holiday decorations. OK, I lie. It’s the only way you can get me to decorate, period. I get compliments on my living room decor, but I got every last piece of furniture from my aunt. It’s basically hand-me-down good taste. My walls are lined with Mega Man portraits and Super Mario fan art. I’m not exactly the definition of femininity. And I’m lazy. Between the two…well, there’s your explanation for why my bathroom has a Dr. Mario theme and perpetually smells like dudes.

If you’re going to do this, you have to go all out. You need an electronic Christmas light right that plays the “Super Happy Awesome Music” and flashes the lights in rhythm with the music.

Better yet, find some way to work this into the creche. “Lo, a star appeared to the east, and it made the infant Jesus invulnerable for thirty seconds!”

Actually I had the music all planned out. Hallmark has a Pac-Man arcade ornament coming out that actually plays the theme music!
