Anders Bergman: ‘Wii Just as Haunted as any Other Console’

The Wii! It is haunted!

Nintendo World Report put up an interview a few days ago with Anders Bergman from A Different Game, developer of upcoming augmented-reality ghost-hunting DSi game Ghostwire. In said interview, Bergman gave a nice overview and history of the title, as well as what will and won’t be making it into the game. The software should be able to use the DSi’s capabilities to detect colors, ‘frames,’ mirrors, lights, people, sounds, and specific symbols. What won’t be making the cut is detection of liquids, multiplayer activity, and certain sorts of ghosts that ‘[do] not easily manifest visually.’ Most importantly, Bergman said that a sequel for DSiWare or the Wii are possible, specifically stating that ‘in [their] view, [the Wii] is as much haunted as any other console.’ I believe it… We’ve all seen our Wiis come to life, mouth pulsing blue in the middle of the night… Spooky!
