That TV Armor is looking better and better all the time.

For those of you not in the regular habit of killing animals to make your penis feel bigger (just kidding, hunting enthusiasts. Don’t shoot me!), Remington is one of America’s oldest and most distinctive brands of firearms. And now Mastiff, known for their outdoor action game Deer Drive, is pairing up with Remington to release a new game, called Remington Great American Bird Hunt. (Hey, when did Sean Hannity get a job naming video games?) Its basically a  fancy game of Duck Hunt, with an option for cooperative or competitive 1-4 player modes. Users can hunt quail, pheasant, grouse, and more with canine sidekick Rockford and their trusty line of Remington shot guns.

No word on any related accessories yet, but I’m sure there’s a Wii Remote gun rack out there…right? Remington Great American Bird Hunt will be released October 27.

SAN FRANCISCO, Calif. – Oct. 2, 2009 – Mastiff, a leading publisher of interactive entertainment and Remington Arms Company, Inc. announced today that they will be teaming up to bring Remington’s legendary firearms to Wii™.

Mastiff established itself as a publisher of quality outdoor action titles with Deer Drive, its popular deer-hunting title for Wii, and the upcoming Shimano Xtreme Fishing, also for Wii. Mastiff’s outdoor sports videogames emphasize playability and fun, offer multiplayer action and always stay true to the spirit of their sport. The result is engaging, easy to play but hard to master games perfect for playing alone or sharing with friends, be they gamers, outdoorsmen or both.

Remington is the industry-leading producer of shotguns, rifles and ammunition for the hunting and shooting markets and is one of the most recognizable names in outdoor sports. Designed with the specific needs of the end user in mind, Remington firearms are the guns of choice in duck blinds, on trap fields and in hunting camps across America.

“We’re honored to be partnering with Remington Arms Company,” said Bill Swartz, Head Woof of Mastiff. “I grew up with Remington. My dad was an avid hunter and a fan of the brand. I still remember as a child when an A on a spelling test earned me what my dad called ‘a boy-sized 22 rifle.’ Naturally, it was a Remington. To be working with Remington now is thrilling.”

“Mastiff’s success with outdoor sports games coupled with their commitment to quality and attention to detail make them a great fit for the Remington brand” said Marc Hill, Chief Marketing Officer for the Freedom Group Family of Companies, including Remington Arms Company, Inc. “Introducing hunting and the shooting sports to youth and non-shooters, is a key strategy for Remington, and we’re incredibly excited to share our passion in the Remington Great American Bird Hunt game.

Remington Great American Bird Hunt for Wii will be released for distribution nationwide in October 2009.
