Looks like the PS3 and Xbox 360 owners won’t be the only ones to get in on the fun. November 17, the same day Assassin’s Creed II drops for iPhone OS, Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360, Assassin’s Creed II: Discovery debuts for the Nintendo DS and DSi.
The title is an “untold chapter” in the Assassin’s Creed II‘s storyline, following a side story of the series’ new protagonist, Renaissance-era Ezio Auditore Firenze. Says Tony Key, senior vice president of sales and marketing at Ubisoft:
“Assassin’s Creed II: Discovery is a great way for fans to experience a new chapter of the Assassin’s Creed II storyline…We think Nintendo fans will be impressed with all the unique features in the game designed specifically for Nintendo DSi and Nintendo DS.”
DSi users will also be able to upload personal photos to appear in Wanted ads throughout the game. Wheeee!
Assassin’s Creed 2: Discovery will retail for $29.99.
