Accessory developer Sunflex Europe has announced the new Premium Remote XL+. This new remote isn’t just a Wii Remote knock off, as it will have the Wii MotionPlus add-on built in. To make things easier, they’ve also included a built-in battery which can be charged conveniently using a USB cable, as well as an external sync button.
As of now, the product is set to launch in Europe on November 15th for € 49.99 (RRP). I did always wonder if Nintendo’s plan was to, at some point, build MotionPlus into all future Wii Remotes. Regardless, it’s great that Sunflex Europe is giving folks that opportunity. No word on a North American release, but we’ll keep you posted if this Wii Remote/MotionPlus combo heads stateside.
