When WiiWare launched back in 2008, there was one particular title specifically that showed off the potential of the service, Frontier’s LostWinds. It was the first game I downloaded, and although short, it blew away my expectations. Get ready for round 2, as LostWinds: Winter of the Melodias will be available “soon”.
The second title in the series will include many of the same gusty mechanics as the first, as well as a new found power to change the seasons from winter to summer. On top of that, little Toku can swim now too, as long as the ponds are frozen over that is. This needs to be released today. Count me in. Official site for the game is now up.
