The interview with producer Ryota Niitsuma that brought us this little bit of Tatsunko vs. Capcom information has finally been published, bringing even more little bits of information. For starters, Niitsuma confirmed that he hopes to keep the roster split perfectly down the middle in regards to the number of characters on each side. He plans to add 3 – 4 new characters, though if Hakushon Daimaou is the only missing character, they’ll pretty much have to add an odd number of characters to keep things balanced.

Niitsuma talked a bit more about licensing issues, specifically in regards to music. Apparently many of the same issues pertaining to licensing characters also apply to music, so much of the Japanese music will be replaced by new songs. The voices, on the other hand, will mostly be in Japanese, with only a few characters translated into English.

Finally, Niitsuma commented on the possibility of a sequel.

If we’re talking about a sequel we first have to talk about success of this game. If it does well we can probably make a sequel. But, if people are going to invest in this game, like we want them to, they’re going to go out and buy arcade sticks. It would be a disservice to fans to just put out this one game that they buy sticks for and then they have nothing more to play. Since this one is for the Wii, maybe the sequel will also be on the Wii.

Hear that, Suda 51? Niitsuma will be loyal to the fans who make his game successful (if it is, indeed, a success). Click the link below to check out the whole interview.
