The holidays are ruined! Ubisoft has announced that Red Steel 2, which was scheduled to release this holiday season, will now release during the company’s fourth fiscal quarter, which is the first quarter of 2010. They didn’t give a reason, but it may have something to do with the recent wave of game delays to avoid the holiday rush. (What kind of a chance does Red Steel 2 have against Tatsunoko vs. Capcom, New Super Mario Bros. Wii, and Wii Fit Plus, anyway?)
Ok, so maybe the holidays aren’t ruined, exactly, since there are still quite a few good (or great) Wii games coming out this year. More than last year, at any rate. Merry Christmas in July!
