Disney Interactive has, unsurprisingly, announced that Tim Burton’s Alice in Wonderland movie will be accompanied by tie-in games for the Wii and DS. Craig Relyea, senior vioce president of global marketing for Disney Interactive, described the gameplay.
These games fully capture the magnificent and whimsical world of Underland while experiencing key moments from the film. More than just a retelling of the movie, Alice in Wonderland introduces fans to an entirely new style of innovative gameplay designed to challenge the puzzle solving skills of older players while making the adventures accessible and enjoyable for the younger crowd. Innovative gameplay and distinct artistic styles on each platform give players a range of unique and engaging experiences.
Both versions of the game will focus on supporting characters to help Alice find her way through “Underland” (I don’t know) while fighting off baddies. The DS version will include support for the DSi camera, which can be used to detect colours and unlock extras. Both versions are due out with the movie in early 2010.
