It has been two days since the newest version of the extra popular Dragon Quest series landed on shelves in Japan. The potential for huge sales are there, with pretty much everyone in the country owning a DS, and the love of Dragon Quest running deep as well. So just how well did it do?
Pretty well. Famitsu reports 2.34 million sales in the first two days. To give you an idea of how awesome that is, the last entry in the series on PS2, Dragon Quest VIII, sold 2.23 million in its first week.
