Did the first demo of Wii Sports Resort seem a little sloppy to you? That may be because the three minigames that were shown off at E3 2008 were thrown together in about three months. That’s right, before that point, there were no concrete plans for Wii Sports Resort outside of the obvious possibility of making a sequel to what would become the biggest selling game in the history of the world.

Another fun fact is that at one point, Shigeru Miyamoto gave an interview in which he described the golf game in Wii Sports Resort. The weird thing about that? There was no golf game in Wii Sports Resort at the time. The development team had to rush to get it in there.
