Phew, so I’m done student teaching, and I’m done with my first full week back on Tanooki-duty. Not a bad week to come back, right? Heh. Normally, news slows down on weekends, but we still have to much from this week to catch up on, from news, interview bits, screenshots, trailers, the list goes on. On top of that, though, I’ll be getting back to spending my weekends writing editorials and features for all of you to skim through in a fraction of the time it takes me to plan them. Woo!
On a separate note, any of you have experience in game journalism? Just a reminder, you’re always free to apply to write for us, and we’ll always take a look at what you submit. Just a heads up, though, we’re going to start re-organizing ourselves this month (THIS MONTH!), and we’ll likely begin looking to add some non-writer positions in the near future. I can’t say what those positions will be yet (because I honestly don’t know), but off the top of my head we might be looking for people who can program content management systems, Flash, iPhone, etc., someone who can handle managing and posting all media (screens and video) and manage a database listing of games, maybe someone to handle advertising and marketing… that kinda stuff. Just a heads up.
Alright, that’s probably it for Friday. As a treat, I’ll throw up that Metroid trailer again as this post’s “image.” Now, onward and upward to Saturday!
